We are Don & Kathy Flowers from Louisville, Kentucky. Like many of you, we have returned – year after year – to the Fort Walton Beach area to wiggle our toes in the sand, relax, and spend time on the beach with our two sons, Brandan & Andrew. My how the years have flown! Our ‘little boys’ have long since grown, and our family now includes a granddaughter! We now look forward to sharing our time-honored beach tradition with her.

After vacationing in the area for many years, we decided to purchase our first beach property. We loved the small town feel of Fort Walton Beach – much like Destin was 20 years ago – and, after much searching, purchased our first property – Island Princess – in December 2004. We were hooked – we loved everything that condo ownership had to offer, except for one thing – space! We needed more space for our family than our 1 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath condo could offer. As fate would have it, we discovered Azure on one of our trips, and immediately inquired about ownership. We ended up purchasing a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit that was being constructed, and were the first to move in on November 28, 2005.

All of the pictures on our web page are photographs taken by me (photography is my new hobby). It’s not difficult to capture nature’s most beautiful surroundings just steps from our balcony! Who knows, one of these days you might find some of my framed photos in our unit!
